I had heard a lot about R K Narayan's "The English Teacher". In the past, I had enjoyed his "The Guide" a lot. So when I saw "The English Teacher" in Himalaya Book store, I decided to take it.
And now after reading the book, I feel that my decision was not wrong. It is really a book worth reading.
